For the price you can't beat these little speakers. The sound quality is much better than I expected given the price. They're not exactly bass-heavy, but they have a surprisingly full, rich sound for their size. They have two built in blue LEDs with an acrylic plastic diffuser at the base. Looks very cool and modern. IMHO, their design was very well thought out. Unfortunately I use them in my office and also in my bedroom where I keep it very dark (think caves but no bats). As mentioned, the blue LEDs are very bright. I thought of taking the speakers apart and putting a small SPST switch in each to turn the LEDs off, but didn't want to destroy them in the process, so I made a simple fix instead . insulating tape over the LEDs. If you goth/emo/? or have a child, you can borrow their black nail polish and use it instead of tape. Simple procedure, see attached images for instructions. Warning: Doing this will most likely void your warranty. My apologies for the order of the pictures here. I tried it three times and Revain randomized the order each time. Hooray!
