This is a good low budget monitor.

. Good - There are no instructions - The included shader alone is useless - The display menu obscures important parts of the screen. Let's quickly start with the really bad so we can move on to the good points of this monitor. First, and perhaps most important to many, is the lack of instructions, physical or online. The package comes with no manual or instructions and there is no website I can find instructions on especially if you are new to monitors and want to better understand the tools this monitor offers. A shader or shading hood that attaches to the shader frame with Velcro not only has a length that doesn't fit the frame, but when I followed the guides on it to fold it, it just didn't fit the frame correctly . My only solution right now is to take a pair of scissors and just cut them to the actual size of the frame. When it comes to the OSD, I think they're in the wrong place. Some monitor tools have additional settings and options for customizing those tools, but since the monitor menu covers those tools (e.g. Histogram, RGB Parade, etc.), you can't see what you're doing until you exit the menu. Menu. So if you don't like the settings you chose, you have to go into the menu, go to the tool, change the settings without seeing the changes take place, and exit the menu to see what you changed. Well. Not only is it a small, lightweight, and affordable video monitor under $200, but it can also be used with Sony NP batteries, Canon LP batteries, and external power supplies. It is very good. The monitor is touch-sensitive, which is very important as we've gotten so used to touchscreens for changing menus and settings lately. Although I haven't had a chance to try it yet, LUTs can be loaded onto a monitor. Any video creator will appreciate this feature when it works properly. The monitor offers many tools like false color, RGB parade, histogram, aspect ratio and more. Some of these tools can also be customized. Note that while the included HDMI cable is an HDMI to mini-HDMI cable, which the manufacturer probably thought was optimal, assuming buyers are using regular DSLRs, you can still use any regular HDMI cable. without problems. Can I recommend this monitor? I can't say it works or gives the same results as a professional video monitor, but I still think it's a great option for anyone on a budget, anyone starting out in video production, or even as a backup monitor Monitor fails while running.

Pros
  • . Still satisfied.
Cons
  • . Incredible price.
