I have been using it for about 10 years, on the third carcass (D40, D5200, D7200), I use it as a staff member. Sharp enough, although a little worse than fixes. Decent bokeh. Of course, the aperture ratio is too small, but the βstubβ helps out well, shutter speeds up to 1/10 are practically without lubrication. Very good for "reportage" portraits, you can shoot unnoticed by the "model". At the short end, it gives distortion, which is easily corrected by Photoshop.
