Bought to install a 4 pin connector on a truck to keep it from dangling. I'm not sure if it only fits a specific brand of cables. No instructions! Attached to the truck, strong. I actually welded it on because the thickness of the metal was where I wanted it. My 4 pin connector did not fit in the bracket slot. I had to use a burr grinder to open up the slot a bit and then use the channel locks to bend the two tabs on the bracket down onto the connector to hold it in place. Mine will never fit in the slot like that. There are no instructions so I just got it working. It's solid now and I think the tabs will hold the connector in place for a while. Maybe it's only for a certain brand, and if so, it might be easier.
