Used to create a water-tight covering for my LED light string attached to my motorcycle. The product came in coil form without excessive bends or kinks. Pulled LED strip through tube using fishing line and care to not remove the adhesive jnside the heatshrink. Readily shrunk using low setting on my heat gun. On non-wire end simply pinched the end flat while hot to make a seal. Worked the wire-end around the wires, wearing gloves, to create a seal. The clear color allows visual validation of the wetting action for seal. During shrink, the tubing conformed quite nicely to the varying dimension of the LED strip, while a few voids existed. I did apply a second layer to gain higher resistance to rock/stone penetration as the strip is mounted to a front-facing surface, low on the bike. The quantity/length was way more than need but it did allow me to use a double layer (see above). I'm satisfied with the performance and value.
