Review on 🎾 Cho-Pat Tennis Elbow Support Strap: Adjustable Targeted Forearm Support - Medium (10.5"-12") by David Pearson

Ideal for severe tennis elbows

These elbow orthoses are available in 2 versions: 1. elastic and 2. non-elastic. I've had no luck with the elastic type you can find at any pharmacy and have tried several. It worked for a fairly severe case of TE. In a few years I've used it enough to wear it and buy a new one. It can be washed, which contributes to wear. The elastic type seems to be marketed to prevent TE. I didn't use it to prevent TE but to help with a severe failure case. In my case, lateral epicondylitis was RSI. What to expect: You pull the velcro until it's moderately tight and stick it on. This guy doesn't "give" when you move your hand. This means that depending on how you put it on, it can be too tight when you bend your elbow or too loose when you straighten it. But when things get tight, it works! (Not so tight that blood flow is affected.)

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
