Review on Enhance your driving experience with the Timbren FR250SDF Suspension Enhancement System by Dan Hansen

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Does what it's supposed to, but bring your butt paste.

Another reviewer noted that it didn't noticeably affect the ride quality. I have to ask, do you drive on glass? Or salt marshes? Anyway, here are some notes after a few months of driving these things on my 2508 F-250: 1) The installation was weird. Notches in the bracket appear to snap into the frame channel to prevent twisting. That didn't happen with my '08. Had to adjust the bracket 180 degrees from my imagination to make it sit flush with the frame rail. The only thing stopping it from turning is tension on a screw in the middle. It was difficult to work in and around the exhaust pipe on the right side. The left side was a hit. The timbres didn't turn on me under heavy use. 2) Rideability when empty is absolute rubbish. They break in a bit after a week or two, but these things sit about 1/4 inch from the fenders and will make contact and hit your tower with the slightest impact. For speed breakers you may need an additional polydent. older boys. 3) Driveability when loaded is absolutely great. I regularly tow 2000lbs or more in the bed with an 8000lb trailer and the ride is actually better than it used to be thanks to the rear axle stabilizer. No more high beams from other motorists. Overall, if you haul a lot of heavy loads, they're worth the money. If you value ride quality AND spring rate, get the bags.
