These pajamas are very similar to the cotton pajamas my kids love but are a little thicker. In the photo, I turned the sleeve inside out to show the material. Personally I think they are true to size but if they tilt to either side they will be small. My son is very skinny/small size 10 so M is a little small for him and L is a little loose in the waist. I have white ones for my son to wear under his skinny Stormtrooper costume for Halloween. He really likes them and we're thinking of getting some more pairs to wear as pajamas. They are also very comfortable to wear under clothing on snowy days. I am completely satisfied with my purchase!
