Design won't tighten properly

This rebuildable trailer ball might seem like a great idea, but it has one major drawback. Most trailer ball designs are not round at the base and have two cutouts to accommodate a wrench to tighten the ball to the specified torque. Not in this design. This presents a noticeable problem when attempting to drive the shaft to specification since the shaft simply rotates. But wait - what about the pinhole that attaches the bullet to the shaft? Of course, I had a mandrel that was the right size for the hole, which allowed me to hold the stock still while tightening (it rotated and locked onto part of the receiver so I could tighten it). Just one problem and that's doozy. he deformed the hole and shaft so that the bullet would not slide on the shaft. So don't try this at home. The Expensive Pendant Orb is now corrupted. The stainless steel used in this design is quite soft and deforms easily. Not worth the cost or hassle. And the instructions don't show the best way to install this ball system, just how to swap out different balls and tighten them up to 150lb/ft. I am very disappointed in this product and would not recommend it.
