Better than I expected and no fragile issues for me!

I only wanted 2 but couldn't find any with main shipping except this set of 4. I wanted them as soon as possible, so I wanted the first delivery. I was nervous because all 3 previews marked them as brittle and easy to break. So for a set of 4 I felt safe if that was the case. I use them to make matcha lattes and they work great. I am also pleased to report that I have not had any chipping or brittle issues with these mugs and have owned them for 4 months now. I have a Teavana glass mug that I broke the rim off with a spoon on day one so I know it's fragile and I think I have a set that isn't there. If you know anything about brewing matcha tea, then you know there's a lot of prep work to do in the cup or bowl you're brewing it in, so these cups are used to metal utensils, and I gave them some decent hits given a spoon. Since then, however, I've switched to bamboo and wooden utensils for my preparation, so maybe that has taken care of them, too. I also do not put these mugs in the dishwasher, I hand wash these mugs and use a dry towel made specifically for drying glassware to dry them. All in all a great purchase and all 4 mugs are in great condition after 4 months of use! I've also bumped these mugs against other glass mugs in my cupboard when putting them back in and still nothing. A mug costs about $8.55 more than the Teavana glass mug I bought and the quality as such is better.
