I give 3 stars for glass defects. I read some reviews about bubbles on the top of the glass causing the glass to shatter. Of my 4 cups, 2 had imperfections such as small blisters and uneven lips in some places. It wasn't very noticeable but for the price I think they shouldn't have these flaws. So far I haven't had any issues with durability. But I've been using it for less than a month. I don't think they are that fragile if handled like thin glass.

If there were a 12-step program for buying crockery and glasses, I would have to move. I love these mugs because now I don't have to buy the same cups and saucers when I get new models. They look just as good with china as they do with regular tableware. They have gone through the dishwasher multiple times with no problems and I love drinking from them. I only wanted 2 but couldn't find any with main shipping except this set of 4. I wanted them as soon as possible, so I wanted the first delivery. I was nervous because all 3 previews marked them as brittle and easy to break. So for a set of 4 I felt safe if that was the case. I use them to make matcha lattes and they work great.
