Review on Dell E2414H Widescreen Discontinued Manufacturer Wide Screen Monitor by Adam Massingill

Revainrating 5 out of 5

While I'm pretty sure they're no longer made, I'm very happy with my choice.

Wanted to have 3 matching thin profile monitors, that helped, part of my build. Great job I built my entire computer with Revain for less than my Macbook Pro. This is the motherboard I chose because it had two Ethernet ports that I could dedicate to the CNC machines to avoid crosstalk. By the time I write this I'm sure they've probably come out with a better board, but what can you do, sooner or later you're going to have to get married. My case I chose is a Chenbro Rackmount 4U server case which accepts this board with no problems. Intel i74790 processor, NZXT memory card reader, Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR3 RAM, Samsung Slim Internal Disk Drive, Corsair CXM 750W power supply, Samsung 850 Pro 512GB SSD, TP Link n900 pic wireless dual-band Express Card, touch fan control NZXT Sentry 3 screen with additional fans. And a killer 4 monitor graphics card, I don't even remember what it was. Couldn't be happier with my setup. Having not built a computer since the mid 90's it was really cool to see that everything works without problems. Definitely the way to go if you want a clean computer with no OS software pre-installed from the factory.

Pros
  • 6.8 pounds
Cons
  • Monitor knobs are too tight.
