Like the other reviewer for the 90 minute 5 pack, I can attest that these bands have too much drag in the mechanism. On my Nakamichi BX-300, they often stop during recording or playback. This is a tension problem where a high-end soundboard intentionally stops the tape from advancing to avoid breaking it. Basically, he thinks the tape is stuck. Cheap decks that don't have this feature can work well with these bands. I had no problems with other commercial cassettes on this deck. My advice: if you have these cassettes, play them a bit before recording them. Insert them into your deck and fast forward the entire tape, then all the way back. Maybe several times. With a tape it stopped every 3 seconds after recording one side no matter where I started on the opposite side until I did the above. YMMV. The recorded audio sounds good. I would like to add that this is recommended in the Nakamichi instruction manual. Find out.
