I seem to buy a new scraper every 6-12 months. I've tried aluminum, plastic, hollow and solid. Maybe I'm pushing too hard on the coral reef algae? I don't know but they always seem to break. So far this one doesn't flex and seems to flex less than others I've had so I think it could last longer. My aquarium is 30 inches deep and with the canopy on top it was very difficult to get into the bottom corners without a stool and a wet hand. It's long enough to go anywhere and strong enough to withstand. The attachments are pretty standard, I like the mini scraper that comes with it. I think this is a very good set!
