My husband is in much better shape than I am and has recently returned to regular exercise. Although he didn't think this little device would do him much good when he first tried it, the next morning he said he had a stomach ache and has been using it ever since. He has a lot to say about that. I've tried to use it a few times and it's very difficult for me. I have back pain and while it doesn't make my pain worse when I'm not using it, I do experience some pain while exercising. The product does not come with any instructions for use or assembly, but it is quite basic. I had a bit of trouble getting the pins to sit fully on the metal stem, but (surprisingly) adding some cooking spray to the pins before putting them on solved the problem. The handles fit perfectly and are now snug against the metal bar.
