Review on Hengs 68631 2 Elixir Escape Garnish by Hartman Hernandez

We are building an RV and have ordered products from scratch. Our assembly from the chassis to the restoration. This product, like many others we have purchased, is very disappointing to say the least. $136 for a product so cheap and unreliable that it actually reflects the decline in quality and pride in craftsmanship that used to exist in our society. It works as advertised, but if you want a reliable, quality escape hatch, spend $400 and look at sea hatches and escape hatches. To top it off, today we're getting ready to work on the RV and while we're getting set up we notice that the two screws holding the flimsy bracket to keep the cheap plastic cover from hitting the frame (which are located on the outside of the sunroof) rusted through two months after installation on the van. The use of two stainless steel screws would have wiped out all gains here. It is a pity. Please note that this is a product rating, not a seller rating.
