I have read some of the previous reviews and agree with some. Yes, it does fall off easily, but I've found it happens more often when wearing belted jeans. It never fell off while wearing my workout clothes. However, I'm very aware of that during the day because I don't want it to fall. I think this is VERY accurate. My hiking partner has a completely different (and very bulky) pedometer that was a few steps away from mine after we walked together one morning. The open front panel was never a problem. It never resets, even when curious kids check my steps throughout the day. The ONLY reason I use a second pedometer is because my dog ate the first one! Really, I'm not making this up! I went out the same day and exchanged it. UPDATE - I CHANGE MY OPINION TO 2 STARS. THERE IS NO ON/OFF SWITCH ON THE PEDOMETER SO YOU WILL DRAIN THE BATTERIES ON THIS PEDOMETER WHICH WILL DISABLE THE COST SAVINGS IF YOU BUY A CHEAP PRODUCT.
