Easy to install. The transmitter can be installed with double-sided tape. The receivers are the simplest to install…just plug into an ac outlet. Once that’s done you set the "chime sound” you want and the volume with the buttons on the side.I installed mine in November 2016 and it’s still working. My transmitter faces south and I live in south central Texas. It gets the sun and therefore the heat every day. The battery needs replaced every few months due to the heat. But it’s a simple process that takes just a few minutes.My transmitter is also not protected from the rain but as I said, six years next week and still working.I noticed, however, this evening when I replaced the battery that the plastic feels like it’s about to break. So for less than $9 I’ve ordered a new transmitter.Definitely recommend you buy this!
