I wish I had never bought this. First of all it is not a "ratchet" as they say that requires winch and only rotates 360 degrees, not a ratchet like a socket wrench. This meant I had to cut the handle off to make it work in my application, so I wanted a ratcheting winch. Second, it arrives with no instructions, no ability to specify settings or gears other than it's not difficult, but. Worked fine, the Harley winch on my truck, however the winch lowered again, the winch failed and pulled the rope out as the gears clicked. . Luckily there was someone on the bike applying the brakes. After unhooking it, I found that I could pull the line out by hand with some effort, even when it was "locked" in gear. Checked the website, almost impossible to find and really no information, looks like a scam overall.
