I bought 2 of them, in xs; one pink, one blue. They are for my chihuahuas who have ridiculously small necks. One of the dogs has almost no hair on her neck/chest/belly and most collars irritate her delicate skin. The only thing that didn't bother his skin was the standard nylon collar, but it became so loose over the course of the day that it slipped right over his head, making it useless to attach an ID card and rabies tag. These collars are very soft and the material they are made of is textured and I think that might prevent them from opening. My only concern is the weight of the buckle on them. It has a certain weight. I hope this means superior durability and you don't have to worry about it tearing and falling apart. Both dogs have necks in the 6-7 inch range and the xs fit both very well.
