For tl;dr people: This collar is amazing, reliable and has a very long battery life. Customer service is an absolute dream, and when it comes to lifetime replacements, that includes puppy collars and leads. For people who want a full review, I read all reviews first, but no matter how much I buy from Revain, I leave a review less than 1% of the time, but this collar deserves it, as does the company that makes it sell it and I hope heaven bless these people. After my father died I wanted a bigger dog to avoid living in a better area to keep unwanted people out of our home. I have never had a dog over 15lbs fully grown and overweight and this big chump weighed 15lbs when I adopted him from the shelter at 6 weeks old. I think I never realized that large dogs grow incredibly fast and bad habits get exponentially worse with them (when he could stand on the floor and steal things off the table and knock over chairs at 6 months when told no, I did understood I was being outdone) so I went in search of training assistants and found some fire books as well as physical books on potty training and manners. He's doing better and unfortunately we discovered he has some medical issues with bladder control, but he's doing better for nothing. However, we were having a ton of trouble with barking, spanking other people to punish him (besides me he can be pretty naughty), couch chewing and literally eating a wooden coffee table, so I hopped back to Revane and looked for a Vibrate Collar in hopes that it helps. After comparing collars and reviews I got this collar and a book on using the training collar with the Kindle. I have to tell you it was a dream. He actually listens and learns not to bark, doesn't hit (unless invited or feels threatened as I don't want him to lose his high spirits or start biting perceived threats) and learns to stay away from tables and furniture. Everything was going great, at least until my dog figured out the collar's charging cable (I swear he's a genius) and quickly decapitated the cables after I decided to let him out of the kennel while I ran to the charge for 30 minutes . . unsuccessful search only for a charging cable. I contacted the seller through Revain with my issue and asked if they only sell the cord (I didn't have the extra $50 to buy a whole new collar) or if they could provide me with the barrel size so I could find somewhere can where i forgot searching for an answer throughout my life. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a replacement collar, cord and all in my mailbox 5 days later. I cannot praise these guys enough. Battery lasts forever, no burns or marks on my dog's thick skin and now that I have a second collar I use it on my 10lb 8 year old Morkey Shan (he is blind and now partially deaf), he learned some bad habits from a dull ball pup and it's just as helpful with him once I figure out his tolerance. I suggest buying a collar training book but you will never regret this purchase and the customer service is a dream come true. Good luck raising your pets!
