The velcro lasts a month if the shoes are worn daily
I bought three pairs of these shoes for my toddler. I read the reviews and hoped I wouldn't come across a defective pair. IN ANY CASE, the velcro has failed. These are adorable well made shoes BUT in all 3 cases the velcro didn't work rendering the shoes totally unusable. Now I've bought Nike shoes for my little one - he seems to absolutely love them, STRIDE RITE will never get my business again.
- it is expensive but worth it. It is comfortable. And it's durable.
- May not be breathable enough resulting in sweaty and uncomfortable feet.
