No significant benefits. Seriously, he just didn't do anything. Oh, and the cable goes to sleep. So when you turn off the TV and say "go to sleep" the cable goes to sleep. That means if you wake up and try to turn on the TV, nothing happens, the cable is asleep. Actually, you have to unplug it and plug it back in to wake it up. What a waste. Don't buy this, it's a good idea but totally useless.
