This thing is useless with my player that outputs Dolby Vision to the TV. It doesn't translate the image properly at all (removes colors and desaturates everything) and loses the feed more often than necessary. Thrown $100 down the toilet. Too bad I didn't buy it.

It works and I can see the difference, especially on cable TV. I use it to upgrade my cable TV from 720p to 1080p and it's noticeably better. Unfortunately, after a year from the date of purchase, the wire failed and began to exhibit artifacts and flicker. I use KODI on a Windows 10 PC with integrated graphics and an I5-8600 processor. After switching the display to 1920x1080 60Hz, I noticed a significant increase in resolution when selecting 1080p sources. Even 1080p YouTube videos are clearer. I have a Samsung 4k TV and the 1080p sources look almost like 4k but not quite perfect. If you watch a lot of streaming content, this is a must.

No significant benefits. Seriously, he just didn't do anything. Oh, and the cable goes to sleep. So when you turn off the TV and say "go to sleep" the cable goes to sleep. That means if you wake up and try to turn on the TV, nothing happens, the cable is asleep. Actually, you have to unplug it and plug it back in to wake it up. What a waste. I bought this to connect a WD TV Live hub to my 42" TV, the movies come from the server and the WD TV Live hub is the bridge between the two. I can see the difference, before and after pic, I really like this product, it noticeably improves the picture quality.
