Protects the remote control!
I love this item because it protects the remote if you drop it! Our floors are tiled and if the remote falls the back flies off and the batteries fly out so the cover gets in the way, if the remote falls it usually holds up. This protective case makes it easy to hold the remote control in your hand and comfortable to hold too! I think the top band could be a bit stronger and that is my only criticism and the reason I gave this item 4 stars.
