I bought two 3ft long T8 LED bulbs (and a cheap set of 4 unshielded tombstones) to replace a worn out T12 fluorescent bulb in the bathroom that just flickered or flickered. sometimes lights up after a while. I removed old pipes, tombstones, gravel and a huge pile of cables. On the one hand I would call it the right side of each (new) pipe, the (new) tombstones simply supported the pipes with no wiring. Not much easier than no cables. At the left end I connected (with wire nuts in between to be safe) a hot wire and a neutral wire to the first tombstone and a jumper wire from each to the other tombstone. Not as easy as without a cable, but still very easy. I reinstalled the plastic diffuser and now when I flick the wall switch I get nice, even light with a nicer color temperature than old fluorescent lights in less than a second. I don't intend to use fluorescent bulbs for future replacements, only LED based bulbs like these.
