I ordered these screws to attach handles to kitchen cupboard doors/drawers. I only really needed a few but I like having spares on hand so a 24 pack seemed like a very good price compared to 4 packs at the local big box stores. When these screws arrived I anxiously opened the bag to install the knobs only to find the tip of the screw barely came out of the hole. I quickly checked the cabinet and then the screw. These screws are described as 1-1/4" long. Here's how: This is the OVERALL length, including the screw head. Useful screw length is 1-1/8". I double checked the screws from American manufacturers. They are measured from the bottom of the head (as they should be) and the length is as listed. Needless to say I sent these screws back.
