A few years ago I bought a used Honda Civic which had numerous but mostly noticeable water marks on the windscreen. I didn't think about it at the time but they were hard water stains and no cleaning ever removed them. Even two rainy winters had no effect. In hindsight I think the car was washed with very hard water and then Xzilon was applied to the water stains. Water stains posed a safety hazard as they created terrible glare at sunset or at night with various street lamps and headlights, and obscured the driver's vision. Mother's Water Spot Remover was just about perfect for this problem! I had to repeat the application on the windshield about 4 times to remove water stains with about 1/2 bottle. Treated the rear window twice. It took just over an hour to manually polish both windows and it was necessary to work very carefully and press hard on the treated glass. While water stains are not completely removed, they are significantly reduced and night glare is no longer a major problem. In short, this product not only improves appearance, but also increases safety!
