Review on 🦷 3 Moldable Thermofitting Teeth Whitening Trays - Easy D.I.Y Solution by Jennifer Palmer

I've found that getting a mouthguard made by the dentist is worth it!

This was my first experience with this type of tray and at first it was cool to be able to customize the trays. However, that excitement quickly dissipated. I was lucky enough to have 3 trays because one of them got too hot and the silicone melted onto itself rendering the item unusable. I was somehow able to weld the other two well enough to use. They say the part isn't hot, but that's because there's still almost boiling hot water on the unit. So I measured them and was happy to use the whitening gel. I used 22% carbamide peroxide for 30 minutes and noticed a big color difference. But those 30 minutes were filled with uneasiness! Despite the thinness of the trays, they are still too thick and chunky. It is difficult to wear them for a while. During this time, I produced a large amount of saliva and was afraid to swallow it because of possible peroxide leakage. So what to do with all of this? You can swallow it with the peroxide, try to spit it out without losing the peroxide, or you can put a wad of tissues in your mouth. I did that and everything was ok. I ended up being able to whiten my teeth (once), but the process forced me to go to the dentist to get a real custom-made mouthguard. I won't be using those cheap trays anymore. For the money I think it's worth it. But I just don't think it's a good idea to use them because they don't really fit your teeth perfectly. My gums were really burning out because of the peroxide, and I was wondering if this was related to the kappa deforming. I would not buy this again and am actually going to the dentist tomorrow for a custom made mouthguard. There are some things worth getting the real thing. To me, my teeth are precious and I want to be able to have a professional cleaning and whitening done. I thought the cheap route would be good enough and save me the hassle, but now I think it would be better to just take the punch and go to the dentist. Much luck!
