Review on 📀 Toshiba SD-4990 DVD Player with Progressive Scan and Upconverting Features by Aaron Hawk

Everything else seems to work fine. Initially I had the same stupid problems with HDMI cables as everyone else, but thanks to reviews and research I quickly solved this problem. intermittently freezes when playing audio CDs; it doesn't matter if they are retail or recorded on cdr or on dvd-rw, it freezes for no reason. I've found that if I quickly press the setup menu button twice, playback resumes. It's like he's just pausing for no reason. Usually about 2 minutes after the first song and who knows how many times after that. I suspect a humidity/hot/cold issue, but I'm not sure. He's too sensitive. Also, I think the laser isn't enough power or something, because if there are any scratches on the CDRW or DVDDW, it's hard to deal with. My Philips DVP642 never had these problems and I wish I didn't have. Sale.
