Minor complaints but overall a worthwhile purchase

I'm not a DIY enthusiast so I went with the cheapest and easiest mount I could find. This is normal, but be prepared for small adjustments. Advantages: price. It's a lot cheaper than most. It's also fairly minimalist - no thick bezels. It's made of a flexible silicone material - that's both a plus and a minus - a plus - it's soft on your tablet - doesn't scratch it. It's also somewhat flexible - I mounted mine vertically in the tightest of spaces, and there's no room to insert a tablet from the side. Instead, I have to put it in the bottom mount and somehow snap it in at the top. Given the flexibility of the material, this works great. Cons: Complete with 6 bolts and dowels fixing - no spare tire and washers. The anchors don't have a lip at the end, so a few mines fell into the cavity of the wall, forcing me to buy spares. Also, when tightening, the screw heads easily fit through the holes in the fasteners. I fixed this with some small washers that should have been included in the mounting kit. Also, my tablet (an old iPad Air 2) is pretty thin and doesn't fit snugly in the holder, so I put a short strip of thin silicone insulation underneath to keep it in place better. There is a slot in the center of one bracket for access to the charging cable. Contemplatively, it seems like it's even wide enough for Apple's old wide port. The kit also includes a paper template for devices of different sizes and a cable holder. Except for minor complaints about the washer and wall brackets, I am satisfied with the kit.
