I bought this on a whim. But now that I'm using it, I'd say it's become an instant hit. Approaching the coupler at the right distance is easy. Backing it up to get you the right distance and perfectly aligned with the clutch takes a lot more effort. With this device you can get it right as long as you are within 4 inches of the hitch on the left or right side. I would recommend it to anyone involved with trailers. It comes with a small wrench to operate it, but I use the same cordless drill I use to turn the posts. The driver is the same size as the one I use for racks (on Airstream in my case). It's shorter than the hitch stand that came with the trailer, so I took a short piece of 4x6 lumber to mount this unit before installing it.
