Great product, saves a lot of controversy if all you have to care about is being there at the right depth. I had an old unit that I broke through my own fault and immediately bought this one.

Works exactly how I want it to. saves a lot of time going back and forth by connecting the truck to the trailer by several inches. Well built and easy to use without taking your foot off my reed socket (which is a bonus for me since mine is bolt on).

What a wonderful little thing, just the thing for leveling my trailer instead of constantly trying backwards to get it perfectly straight! As a solo female Rv'r, this is just the perfect accessory for my caravan! Hats off to whoever came up with this!

Unit is weak. The part that moves from right to left is weak and I had to weld it on. The threading isn't good, and the frame is made of a material not much thicker than a tin can. The only reason I kept it was because I was going to make changes anyway, so I just made the rest of the necessary buffs and improvements.

I returned this product because it didn't do what I wanted. It was well made and strong. When I looked at the picture, I thought it would come with a vertical stand, but that's not the case. In what I received you had to equip your own vertical post; Unfortunately, my stand had a wheel that wouldn't come off, so I couldn't use it. All you get is a base part and a wrench.

I bought this on a whim. But now that I'm using it, I'd say it's become an instant hit. Approaching the coupler at the right distance is easy. Backing it up to get you the right distance and perfectly aligned with the clutch takes a lot more effort. With this device you can get it right as long as you are within 4 inches of the hitch on the left or right side. I would recommend it to anyone involved with trailers.
