My wife's Kia Sedona had leaking valve covers and one of them was leaking oil to the alternator. Each valve cover is quite large and has about 18 bolts. Therefore it is very important to have a gasket that stays in place and fits into the grooves. I really like these pads. This special kit includes gaskets specifically designed for each valve cover. You need to make sure they are using the correct one for the cylinder block. There is an inscription on the seal. So if the lettering is facing up, you know the seal is in the right place. Felpro is always a good base. It's so hot under the hood with those plastic covers on the engine that the heat tends to heat up the rubber parts and wear them out faster. It's not the fault of the gasket manufacturers, it's the fault of the automakers who want the engine to look nice and actually trap heat in the engine bay. This caused the stock seals on my wife's Kia to start leaking oil at around 70,000 miles. I used some glue to make sure the gasket didn't move when I slid the cover around the installation obstructions. Bottom line, felpro makes damn good pads.
