I install this on a asphalt roller to control the water pump. We had been through probably 10 switches in the past three seasons and all of them stopped working due to rust or the switch fell apart or it just went bad. Since we put this one on it’s been working perfect and I don’t see where it’s going to have any trouble. Definitely worth the money to invest in a nice switch and now we have no troubles.

I really like the waterproof and simplicity but really wish they would put some markings on it. It only has a quarter turn, but remembering which position is on or off is not obvious. I tried some paint (to mark ON) but the wore off. NOTE: You will likely need to drill some big holes into side of battery box (mine is plastic) to route the pigtail wire thru. I chose to switch the WHITE/Negative wire on my setup.

This is my second one purchased. I used these for capacitor shutoff for car stereo systems (so it doesn't drain the car battery when not in use for awhile) and it's the perfect thing for it! Very sturdy construction and gives you more than a few wiring options.

This is a first rate product. You could go buy the cheap readily available junk advance auto rileys. Or you can wait a day or so for something that will still be working when you sell your car in 5-6 years.

When I park my car for a week as I use my work truck I just use this to turn off the battery to prevent drain and draw on my stereo battery

These terminals are heavy duty. Not flimsy at all like another set I purchased and had to return. I used solder slugs on the connectors. You don't need a torch, just use a heat gun to melt the solder and then push the wire into the connector.

Sticker that indicates what position the switch is in was placed incorrectly. Initially made usage a little confusing. Apparently, quality control leaves a little to be desired.

Did not like it cause 3 weeks after I bought it a quick working had unhooked the whole system now I've gotta buy a different style

Good quality. Love that when it’s turned "off”, the red knob is removable so someone can’t come along and turn it back on unless you want them too.

Works well, no issues. You will have to figure out where to mount it. The provided screws are very long and protrude into the battery box and the battery if installing on the battery box.

I thought I was going through way too many lawn mower batteries, but after installing this cut-off switch I realized my battery was draining between mowings. Since installing this switch I haven't had to charge my battery even once. So glad to have found this sturdy switch. Heavy duty and should last a long time, and easy to look at. Good purchase.

This ended up having an internal sort and would not charge the secondary battery unless you pulled on the terminal. Very poor constructed product and the customer service keep wanting to troubleshoot in being something with my wiring and I informed them I could bypass the product and everything works just fails once you connect the smart charger.

I used this for about four months. Then I went to turn it and the knob cracked (see arrow in photo). When I disassembled it I found a random piece of metal that likely jammed it (see circle in photo). Unfortunately, my control panel was built around this so I reordered another one. I'm considering disassembling it first to make sure the inside is okay, though I think it's unlikely this one will have that same issue.

I had to return this as its amperage rating is listed as 300A. The connecting posts on the little switch can in no way safely handle 300A. The switch felt as though it was very good quality, positive feel when switching, and VERY compact. I just would not rely on this switch to handle 300 amps.

Awesome terminals, covers up everything great! My only grief was the nuts to tighten the terminal on the battery post, I couldn’t get my 12mm wrench fully on the nut to tighten and almost rounded the negative side. Just use a little caution. They hold great and look awesome!

Turns battery on and off!. Exact OEM replacement for my 2005 Chaparral 205, which had simply fallen apart. I matched the part from the photo online. Pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to MacGyver a replacement switch to fit.
