Review on ๐ŸŽง Replacement Stylus for DJ Turntable Cartridges - Audio-Technica AT3600L Standard Mount Magnetic Cartridge by Joseph Morris

Revainrating 5 out of 5

High quality, affordable phone cassette with better specs and performance

According to a reviewer, Audio Technical has been making the 3600L for a long time. A few years ago I bought an AT-LP60 turntable with this cartridge installed. I've had trouble skipping the platter frequently, even with new records, so I guess I've never gotten what I consider to be cheap, entry-level, low-end cartridges to shine. I recently purchased the 3600L for my AT-LP 120 turntable based on a reviewer's praise of this cartridge. When you see the high specifications of the 3600L you will realize that this is a cartridge for the audiophile market in its time. This pickup produces high-quality sound, but a sound that really impresses with detail and excellent stereo separation. I listen to a lot of instrumental music and this is where the AT3600 really shines. This cassette may not be able to handle other genres of music. I wasn't impressed with the Audio Technicians VM series pickups. Perhaps some of the company's older carts are actually better. Please don't write off the 3600L because of the cheap price. Perhaps Audio Technica invested a long time in the development of this wonderful pickup and sold it by the thousands all over the world. Remember the law of supply and demand. More stock of a product equals a lower price. Perhaps the same applies to the 3600L.
