It has a brittle plastic feel but has held up 3 times and hasn't cracked. If you're planning on using it in the shower, know that you'll have to save money on your conditioner. It sprays well enough at close range to effectively rinse out the shampoo, but the conditioner lasts much longer and drains your water supply quickly. The battery is enough for two adults to quickly shower or rinse 3 times before we charge it again. I mainly use it for camping but I only used it to test for washing my car. If you only have road dust or dirt and no off-road dirt and grime, you can wash your entire car in under 5 gallons, and with just this sprayer, you still need a sponge to dampen and wash it off. wipe off the dirt. Overall, this is a handy and useful cordless washing machine that beats my foot pump or gravity shower. The included mesh pouch holds all the accessories, which is nice but makes it a bit unwieldy. I think they did a good job demonstrating the spraying skills in the listing video, but I think they might not want to portray it as a pressure washer in the description text.
