I'm a very technical guy and a mobile DJ and I use stuff like that a lot. I tried to use it mainly for laptop storage. Huge problem. I rotate the legs below to fix the height. The weight of my small laptop is still pushing it down. In order for me to hold it I need a pair of pliers to tighten it enough to hold it. It's too much work! It would make more sense if they had holes in the pole so I can mount them where I want. Without turning the screw, he hit a solid, slippery post with no hole. I've had this for 2 months now. Last night I tried everything to correct the height with my hands and my legs collapsed and broke. Dude I'm sorry but I don't recommend this if you don't have the time and patience. It's good to hold something lighter than a laptop maybe lol. I need to find something like this, but much easier to use. Set and forget.
