The mask itself is not too cool. This is pleasant, but after 3 to 4 hours it puts a strain on the back of the head and the ears. The straps around the ears and the extra strap at the back of the head hurt and are not adjustable. And the material is not as breathable as advertised. Especially when it's full of sweat it just restricts my airflow. The cotton inside should also be breathable. If it hadn't been for Deal 3 for $20 I would have returned it.
