These shorts are light weight and true to size.Pockets:The rear pocket can easily fit my phone and its zipper is nice. However, the depth of the rear pocket might allow for items to move a little more while running. The side pockets are regular pockets, I am glad that they are there.Material and Workmanship:The material is lightweight, but not as rugged as the Nike and New Balance shorts I have of similar styling. However, the quality of the rear pocket zipper is great. I also like the waist band, it was nicely done.Recommendation:I would recommend for casual exercise and running, but not for marathons or activities that might snag the material.
