Bought these instead of Bose Quiet Comfort and was incredibly happy. These are my first noise canceling headphones and I'm so glad I spent the money on them. At worst, outside noise is muffled, at best it's gone. Unlike the noise-cancelling headphones of the past, I don't hear white noise overwhelming things. They aren't too heavy for my head and the padded headband is very comfortable. The icing on the cake was the ability to skip songs and change the volume by swiping your right ear. This kit was what I took because it added a hard case and I needed a simple stand to store my new toy. This pair has more bass than the others (Sony wrote it in gold) and they feel better too. I have since bought a second set in the exclusive navy blue Revain.
