Too big for earrings, too thin for pendant

They would be lovely and fun to paint and decorate if they weren't too damn big to wear on the ear or too damn big to wear as a pendant. I can well imagine them snapping off a loop when used as a pendant. And I don't see anyone who wants to wear something that big on their ears. Here is my Etsy idea.
