Review on 🎧 Moukey MHAMP1: Mini 4-Channel Headphone Amplifier with Balanced TRS Input & Output for High-Quality Audio Reproduction by Kim Evans

I can't recommend this Moukey highly enough. The price is absolutely fair, but the performance is amazing. Crystal clear sound. I record a lot of voice-overs, mostly video game dialogue, and game companies want extremely low levels (e.g. -24dB to -18dB peaks) but this means it's very hard to discern nuances of performance in the headphone feed from the to hear the microphone. I got a Pyle PHA40 to fix what was honestly a complete POS; The headphone gain is actually REDUCED and noise is added. I understand there are design issues that affect impedance. Then I bought Moukey. Day and night, and I was an idiot trying to save just a few bucks. This thing is a champ with no jokes. The Moukey is USB powered rather than a standard PSU, so the power supply is already set and there is --zip-- a 60Hz hum or line hiss. The signal in the headphones is immediately and clearly amplified where I need it. I can hear my performance perfectly regardless of the input level of the recording. There is a new Moukey fan here, and as I need to adjust my studio in the future, I will try Moukey first. If you need to step up your doses to hear what you're doing better, get this. Period.
