This lamp has an operating time of four hours. It heats up and the filament is pretty weak. After a few bulbs blew out during the first week of use I switched the light to a slider to dim less quickly - the built in switch cuts power too quickly for the bulb to handle and often breaks the glass near the base of the screw. Alternating both sides of the dual nano light gives 8 hours of operation. Or a 24-hour heat lamp on one side prevents the filament from cooling down a bit. TL limit; DR up to 4 hours per day and slow gradual on/off to extend lifespan. Note to Nano: save us trouble. and make the inline radio button a slider instead.
