The product is designed to warm our bearded dragons at night. Heat output and constant temperature have been excellent so far. Only used 2 nights so I can't comment on durability. Delivered as promised and the product is exactly as described. Very satisfied with the quality of the product, the price and the delivery.

I have yet to find out if anything bad will ever happen because it keeps working. This is a great relief if you don't have to constantly change expensive light bulbs. The only thing I would change is that it is very hot. Too much for my little turtles in a 40 gallon tank. In winter it would be great for a chicken coop.

Probably the best lightbulb I've ever had for my bearded dragon. I have a traditional daylight light and this ceramic heat lamp has increased its activity. At 11 she stopped being slow and often hiding around her house with lightbulbs, now she's out of the house and active in a way I've never seen before. She loves it. And I love seeing them hunt again.

I have bought expensive heaters and to be honest they are no different. They work well and have a fairly long lifespan. Be very careful, they heat up quickly and when they do heat up they are untouchable. That should go without saying, right? I have a massive case for my Varanus Salvator and the radiant heater (along with other lights) keeps it warm day and night.

I am building a 4ft x 2ft aviary for my boys so I bought two to cover more area than they have now. Love that this fits in the short case but the heat doesn't seem to radiate very far. It's been working great since I got it and my Chinese water dragons seem to love it. I prefer this over side mounted heaters because it gives my boys the option to stay warm or not in the heat.

WE LOVE IT! They are a great alternative to the traditional heat lamp. They fit in the same ceramic socket/holder as a regular heating pad so you don't need to buy anything extra/special to install your incubator. Just buy them instead of red or white heat lamps! Installed both bulbs in my bearded dragon lanterns, one was fine the other seemed to have stopped working. To check if it was a lightbulb or a luminary I checked the lightbulb in another lightbulb and it started smoking and lit up moments later. Exactly the same setting is on my other beard on the cage but now I'm thinking about changing both the light and the lamp. As for the other cell, this light has HIGH heat dissipation and can burn it out more easily than other bulbs I've tried.

EDIT: I want to clarify why I upgraded from one star to three. I sent the defective ones back to Revain and received a new pair the next day. These new ones are very hot. You can see in the picture that it hit over 600 degrees Fahrenheit. One of the lamps appears to have a manufacturing issue and it is tilted. It works fine but looks weird. I'm not sure if that's reliable. I added two stars because it took a day to replace the faulty ones. I didn't give more stars because one of the new ones…

I have a restless reptilian friend who tosses and turns throughout the night, makes a lot of noise and gets grumpy during the day. I use the red heater at night and when I switched her to this non-light emitting bulb she now sleeps through the night.
