Perfomes as intended and expected

I'm giving it scores across the board because it does what it was intended to do. These are not high temp bulbs and you will not see any light emitted but you can trust me that they work. I checked it by hand and almost burned myself as a result. I checked because there just wasn't any light coming from it. I use this in my chicken coop and am very happy with them. Not so much heat as to cause a fire (unless you are careless and don't use a caged lamp body) and doesn't burn my birds. Just…

Pros
  • Great price and they work fantastic
Cons
  • Temps staid in the low 80’s for this one. Had to get a bigger one.

They did the job! on my review.

I recently built a large aviary for my zebra finches(76 of them) and added two heat lamps to keep them warm in our chilly Arizona nights. They love them and hover near them each night. I am very pleased with your product. The added thermometer was a nice little bonus.Tom Messner

Pros
  • Work great, our ball python love it.
Cons
  • The use of infrared heat emitters instead of traditional heat lamps may be unfamiliar to some pet owners, making it more difficult to troubleshoot issues or ensure proper usage

Toasty when they work.

I’ve bought several for my hedgehog. I buy extra in case one of the new bulbs doesn’t work. That’s happened a couple of times. When they work they’re fine.

Pros
  • My beaded dragon lay's under it all the time
Cons
  • I had both bulbs burn out. One over the course of 12hr. The second in 5 mins.

Great for chickens: my feedback

Wanted a different heat sources than heat lamps which break so easy. Provides great heat for baby chicks. As effective as 250 watt heat lamp. Not sure of durability, but should last longer than a heat bulb

Pros
  • Good value, keeps my turtles happy
Cons
  • Not a good buy

Keeping aquatic turtles warm enough

I use these for my aquatic turtles. It was hard to see if they were working but the following morning I could feel the heat output.

Pros
  • Like it
Cons
  • Barely got 5 hours out of each

Ceramic heat bulb, a great switch from heat lights.

Decided to switch out a couple heat bulbs with these and they are doing just what I needed! My snake likes the extra heat without the extra brightness. The temp gage works just right also and easy to place exactly where it is needed.

Pros
  • Great
Cons
  • The focused heat output of these lamps may create hot spots and uneven temperature distribution within the enclosure, leading to discomfort and even injury for pets

horrible lights in my review

This was the worse purchase I’ve bought off ebay. One heat emitter didn’t work and the other barley gets to 90 degrees. PleaseDo not buy this product!

Pros
  • Works as described!
Cons
  • Lights got so hot the chickens burned the feathers right off. Never received the temp gage thermometer.

Not a reliable piece

I put it in and the first bulb worked, although a week later I was wonder why my bearded dragon(Prince) was acting different well the bulb went out. I don’t know how long it had been since. So I put the other one in and after two days that one was no longer working. You have to keep a close eye out for those bulbs and your pets. It was a nice idea though.

Pros
  • Easy to control
Cons
  • The 150W heat output may be too high for smaller enclosures, making it difficult to regulate temperature and provide a safe environment for animals

Cheap long lasting bulbs

I use these in several of my reptile enclosures. 9/10 times they last for 6+ months and arrive packaged very well. I have ordered numerous times and have ever only have one dud which the manufacturer replaced. These are a great value and I will continue to order these instead of buying overpriced reptile marketed lights at the pet store that usually blow put within a month.

Pros
  • Okay
Cons
  • Disappointed the product went out within days.

Admitters are perfect, thermometer is slow

Packaged perfectly, No breakage. Came with a nice thermometer with a mini suction cup to stick on the side of the terrarium but it takes a few minutes to get a correct reading.

Pros
  • One worked great but the mail broke one during delivery and it was useless
Cons
  • The digital thermometer could malfunction, leading to inaccurate temperature readings and potential harm to the reptile or pet brooders

Best I’ve found - my new review

I searched for awhile trying to find this for a decent price. This one was great for the price. I got two bulbs and i love the temperature gauge. I use it for my leopard gecko. The suction cup reader sits perfectly on the outside of my tank and is super strong. It is very accurate and I have found better then some temperature gauges I’ve found at typically stores.

Pros
  • No light so my geckos are more relaxed
Cons
  • Chicken coop works Although part of ceramic coating was missing
