EDIT: I want to clarify why I upgraded from one star to three. I sent the defective ones back to Revain and received a new pair the next day. These new ones are very hot. You can see in the picture that it hit over 600 degrees Fahrenheit. One of the lamps appears to have a manufacturing issue and it is tilted. It works fine but looks weird. I'm not sure if that's reliable. I added two stars because it took a day to replace the faulty ones. I didn't give more stars because one of the new ones wasn't made or tested before it was boxed. I could use it with a dimmer. To be honest, I still can't recommend it without a quality check. As you can see in the attached image, the temperature never rose above 106 degrees Fahrenheit, which is hardly warm. Reading other reviewers' comments, I was expecting warmer temperatures. I believe the two bulbs I received are defective and I have asked for replacements. I will update after testing the new set. For the set of 2 I received I cannot recommend it.
