Very hot and long.

I have yet to find out if anything bad will ever happen because it keeps working. This is a great relief if you don't have to constantly change expensive light bulbs. The only thing I would change is that it is very hot. Too much for my little turtles in a 40 gallon tank. In winter it would be great for a chicken coop.
