I'm in my 60's and I still go four golf courses a week totaling 40+ km return . No problems, no pain in the legs. I play early in the morning when the field is wet and they have proven to be very waterproof. One thing you need to be prepared for is that the shoe is basically a sleeve for your foot. So you slip them on like slippers and use the lacing to adjust the feel. The only thing that bothers me is that on hot days you don't have airflow around your feet as they are waterproof. However, it's nice that they're waterproof if you need them. Good exchange.
