It won't pair with headphones or earphones that I've tried.

I bought this unit primarily to play Hemi-Sync and other binaural beat music CDs on it. In order for these sound technologies to be effective in creating overall brain health, headphones must be used, which is why I've never played them without headphones. player, but there is nothing associated with it. It just keeps showing it's "mating" but it never happens. I used the radio for NPR "news" which sounded fine, but I no longer listen to NHPR or other mainstream "news". They all disgust me with their constant propaganda, their lies
